I often arrange holidays and short breaks for family and friends - I research possibilities from the criteria I have been given, then present a number of choices by email or in person.
Once the choice is made, I undertake all the administration such as booking, online check-in, printing of boarding passes etc., acting as a third party on my clients' behalf. It is important to understand that all contracts made are solely between my client and the company providing each service.
As an example, I was recently asked if I could find flights to Tenerife for less than £220 on certain dates. I took on the task and the very next day, once I had consulted with my client and ensured she had all the information she required (i.e. luggage allowances, flight times etc.), I had booked on her behalf 2 return flights for £178 each, saving her £84 in total and any hassle at all. I completed check-in prior to departure, printed off her boarding passes and delivered them to her the day before she flew.
